Race training, running, working out, living a healthy life - gotta stay accountable somehow. Knowing this is out here makes me want to get up early & hit the trails. Want to go running, need a workout buddy or just a motivator? I'm always ready to help. Just let me know what I can do.

SUPER sad to be off my training. Doc says it's tendonitis. Busted 2 tendons on top of my foot. Hoping if I stay off it altogether that I'll be back up and running in no time. GAH!

The worst thing you can tell a runner: you can't run. This morning, I left at 5:50am to meet David H. 2mi into my 7mi run & my right foot tendons snapped just before meeting him. Should have begged him to drive me home but ended up limping slowly home. Took 50min to limp 2mi. Am now angry, frustrated, sad & REALLY need to go for a run to make me feel better. :(

Joshua R. & I took both dogs to the park & made them run about 3.7mi with us. They passed out when we got home. SUCH a beautifully sunny day.

My Joshua R. & I got our first Bethesda-area run together. He was a rockstar doing one of his longest runs and kept up with me! SUPER proud. Felt great to get the miles in on a beautiful Saturday morning.
